I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I ended up being pleasantly surprised by how much it felt like I was watching the old Dexter series. In the first series, Dexter would often flash back to a period of his past, and this latest series is like going back to those scenes, but expanded.
This latest series is even more so
Also, as dark and sad as the original series was, it was also full of dark humor. I hope the entire series is as good as the first episode.
The acting is flawless
I almost lost it when I saw a young Baptist, HA! And oh my God, don’t get me started on Deb!
And finally, a great performance by a young Dexter
